What Is THC Syrup?

Well, imagine your pharmacy purchased cough syrup, only the codeine has been replaced with THC. Now you have THC syrup. Essentially, it is a liquid mixture that contains activated cannabinoids. You can either consume it as it is or mix it into smoothies and beverages. This is kind of how THC Syrup got nicknamed “weed lean”.

What makes THC Syrup different from a cannabis oil is its solubility in drinks. Usually, if you have wanted to consume cannabis as a liquid, you had to buy one of those sugary weed drinks from your dispensary. Now, you can dissolve THC syrup in your coffee, in smoothies or in any of your favourite fizzy drinks.

THC syrup isn’t an edible, and it’s not a drink. It’s absorbed a little bit faster than an edible. For medical users, this would mean faster (pain) relief. While some of it will go through your digestive system (you’re drinking it after all), you’ll absorb some of it through the aqueous membrane of the mouth, straight into the blood.
